How your details are used
For customers who receive a quote through Job Sherpa.
Who is responsible
Your quote comes from the business named on it. That business decides what goes into the quote and is responsible for the details it holds about you. Job Sherpa is the software the business uses to prepare and send quotes. We store and process your details on the business's behalf.
What the quote holds
The quote shows your name and the work quoted. The business may also have saved your phone number, email address and job address in its own records. This page only ever shows your name.
What we record when you use this page
- When you open the quote: the time it was first opened, so the business knows you've seen it.
- When you accept: the option you chose, the price, the time, your IP address and your browser details (the name and version your browser reports).
- When you decline: the time, your IP address, your browser details and any reason you give.
Why
The time, IP address and browser details are kept as a record that the quote was accepted or declined from this link, in case there's a later question about the agreement. The business is notified in its app and may receive an email saying what you chose.
Who can see it
Only the business that sent the quote, and Job Sherpa where needed to run and support the service. We don't sell your details or use them for advertising.
Where it's kept
Quote records are stored with our database provider in Sydney, Australia. Notification emails to the business are sent through an email provider that may process them outside Australia. The company hosting this page keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
How long it's kept
Your details are kept with the quote for as long as the business keeps that quote in Job Sherpa.

This page doesn't use cookies or store anything in your browser.
Access and corrections
To see or correct the details held about you, or to ask a question about privacy, contact the business that sent your quote. Their contact details are on the quote.
